Fun for me is challenge in the games.
Now it is hard to find good players if you do not know them from before.
I want that ranking has some meaning so i can choose hard games that i really want to play.

Sadly for me, no challenge is equal to no fun.

If you are not looking for a constant improvement in your game, why even play? That holds for every competitive game.

what about including the toughness of a table in the points for the places on it?

The average rating of all players taking part in a table could be a base. Set a maximum of not more than twice or half the number of the standard points and set a difference in ranking for the max points.

In Example:
Set the max difference in ranking to 400.
Every player taking part in a table of average rating 300 with a place higher than 700 will get double the points.

In that way tougher tables give you more points, which is in no way included in the current calculation.
