The current internet server for PokerTH is a German Strato Vserver. Due to some TCP connection problems, it would be great if SCTP over IPv6 could be supported as protocol on server side, this would help with connection issues where SCTP is available (i.e. currently on Linux and MacOS). The Vserver will not support SCTP in the near future.

So a general question is: Does someone have a dedicated server that he'd be willing to offer for use as PokerTH internet server?

The Memory/CPU needs of the PokerTH server are quite small (at least currently), but we would need an account on that server to be able to manage it. Also, the host offer should be "serious".

Any help would be very much appreciated.

i would like to donate bandwith and server ressources.
However, i am currently checking with my hosting provider if they provide IPv6. I hope they do, until now i always had good support from their side...

Thanks for the offer - there is no need for your hosting provider to provide IPv6. Very very few actually do this. But the server should have IPv6 and SCTP support in the kernel.

For IPv6 support, a tunnel can be set up (see the link in my signature).
