How to do a translation for PokerTH 0.6:

At first you need the translation application "Qt Linguist" in version 4.3.2 or 4.3.3!
Most Linux-Distribution has packages like "qt4-linguist" for example mandriva linux: qt4-linguist-4.3.2-3.1mdv2007.1.rpm
Windows-User can get a Qt-4.3.3 package (Linguist as a part of Qt is included) here: ftp://ftp.trolltech.com/qt/source/qt-win-opensource-4.3.3-mingw.exe
MacOSX-User please take a look here: http://trolltech.com/developer/downloads/qt/mac

After this please fetch the current development code from SVN repository. You need subversion-client (http://subversion.tigris.org/project_packages.html) installed to do: "svn co http://pokerth.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pokerth/trunk/pokerth"

After fetching the sources please browse to directory "pokerth/ts/". There you will find the pokerth_*.ts files. For german translation choose "pokerth_de.ts". To do italy translation the "pokerth_it.ts" is your file. If you don't find the file suitable to your language please use pokerth_START_HERE.ts to start a new translation.

If you are not able to fetch the sources from svn please send me a mail and tell me which translation you would like to start. So i can send you the suitable file.

Now open your file with the Qt-Linguist and translate the strings. For help using Linguist take a look here: http://doc.trolltech.com/4.3/linguist-translators.html

If you finished translation please save the "pokerth_*.ts" file and send it to doitux@pokerth.net.

At the moment vietnamese or chinese translation would be welcome. May be we can provide this as additional download because 0.6 is already released on 2007-12-13.

I am a chinese. Maybe I can translate to Chinese.
But the Texas Holdem Poker is not famous in China, so may be it need a document about Texas Holdem Poker.

Chinese whould be great.
May be you like to provide a chinese texas holdem howto @ our wiki? Feel free to add anything you like there.
