Hands before raise blinds 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 2
Hi PokerTH-fans,

what does the "Hands before raise blinds" value actually mean? If it is set to 1, does it mean that every hand the blinds are raised or does it mean that there is one hand played without raising blinds, the next hand the blinds are raised, next hand not raised and so on?

I set the value to 1, the small blind to 10 and the small blind was:
Hand 1: 10 $
Hand 2: 20 $
Hand 3: 20 $
Hand 4: 40 $
Hand 5: 40 $
Hand 6: 80 $
...

If the hands before raise value is set to 2, the small blind to 10, then it was:
Hand 1: 10 $
Hand 2: 10 $
Hand 3: 20 $
Hand 4: 20 $
Hand 5: 20 $
Hand 6: 40 $
...

If it is working as the rules say, so I didn't start this thread Though, I know for sure then.

If the value 1 means "double blinds every (!) round" then game.cpp (line 140, rev 841) should be changed to something like:

Code:

// smallBlind alle x Runden erhöhen if((actualHandID-1)%startHandsBeforeRaiseSmallBlind == 0 && actualHandID > 1) { actualSmallBlind *= 2; }
Thanks if someone could clarify this Regards Bernd
