PHP stats on webpage 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I would like to display some information about the game on a server using PHP.

Example:

Server: pokerth.net
Port: 7234
Status: Online
Game: 2 Hand: 37
Number of Players: 5/7
1st tranadmin $6.000
2nd doitux $5.000
3rd lotodore $4.000
4th davis $0
5th Bernd17 $0

I guess I can use fsockopen for this but I need some information about the PokerTH network protocol.

Oh, you didn't have to mention how much money I had...

You'll find the network protocol in the net_protocol.txt file in the docs directory or the current subversion repository file: http://pokerth.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pokerth/trunk/pokerth/docs/net_protocol.txt?view=markup

Is there a "current game status" request? I don't think so. In my opinion the current values are transmitted only if you are a player of the game. Otherwise, PHP should work as I achieved to set up a small player client in Java (just for playing around with Java). Any programming language with network support should be suitable to interact with PokerTH.

Regards
Bernd
