Did not recognize straight vs 2 pair!! 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Ok, notice here I am all in with a King of hearts and Ace of Hearts...

On the board

J, Q, .., .., 2, 3, 4

Notice I have the two cards that fit in, so we would take the highest...

MY CARDS should have been

Jack, Queen, King, Ace, 2 which ranks #6

Player 1 got 3 of hearts and jack of hearts...
TWO PAIR ranked #8 on the board...

Hi,

From the wiki:
QUOTE:
In a straight, the Ace can rank either high or low, depending on the card sequence. The Ace is high in the sequence A-K-Q-J-10. Aces rank low in the sequence 5-4-3-2-A. You cannot use the Ace to wrap a lower sequence with a higher sequence, such as 3-2-A-K-Q.

In some other types of poker, this may not apply. But as far as I know, this is the rule in Texas Holdem.
