Keep track of cumulative earnings 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

It would be great if the program would keep track of the cumulative winnings/losings in the lifetime of playing the game. It's easy enough to deny how much you've lost and focus on the wins as-is

Thanks,
Ari

First of all: this better be client-side, cos anybody can go play with my nick and ruin my perfect record so far (kidding of course ).
Secondly, there are lots of games where people who have lost are shouting C'MON, GO ALL IN, WE WANT TO PLAY, or people saying "We're heads-up now, I have to go feed my cat, let's just go all-in next round no matter what". It's nice in these situations to be able to go all-in without having to worry about ruining your track record.

I like the care-free nature of joining a pokerth game. No track records, cash balances or registration, just a relaxed game.

When there are going to be tournaments, it's a different story of course. It would be nice if there was some record kept of those. But we'll see if and when these are possible and start to happen.

We spoke about statistics like "top 10-100 - most games won this week/month/year" or "top 10-100 - most AA pocket pairs this week/month/year" and so on. But i wont be included in 0.6. After this release we will reorganize our todo-list.

I was thinking it was more for personal reference, and client-side, which avoids a lot of the issues of worrying about casual games.

Thanks for all the work y'all have done. PokerTH has been a great way to learn.

In terms of just having some sort of cumulative metric readout of how well you're playing maybe something like one of these scoring formulas would work.

Probably not essential, but I'm sure some people might find it useful to know if their play is getting quantifiable better.

i think overall game statistics have to be made server-side based on (mysql?) database then shown on a web site frontend integrated with portal community and forum\site user identity (from client user has to login with his user and password)
like this a user can have his personal statistics in his forum profile.

more, i think that server has to be integrated with site to show players, running games, opened games and so on.

i think its can seem too complicated but im mysql\php developer and i'd be glad to help pokerth to write this integration.
