Cash is part of the expression "Start Cash", and for this there is the German translation "Startgeld". "Start Cash" is on the same level as "Maximum Players" for example, and I believe it wouldn't look very nice if one line is English and the next one is German. Also, I've seen "Startgeld" on posters and flyers. On the other hand, Germans use the expressions "Raise" and so on as is. I think every poker group has its own talking style and so it would be difficult to meet everybody's taste.

I could also think of two different language files, one in poker lingo and one more "traditional". But these would mean an extra work for us developers.

I don't see any problems with the different character sets due to UTF-8 and the possibility to cut&paste the (for example) Russian string into my own language file. I also didn't type the Turkish translation for Turkish myself. I've just used cut&paste.

I fancied the idea that non-German speakers can see their language option in their own language as well as the German speakers realise which languages are supported by PokerTH. I don't say that everybody has to do it the same way I did, but I like it with the braces .
