Problems when connection is bad 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

in the last days I had some problems with my DSL connection, i.e. from time to time I lost the connection or there was a significant delay.

That led to some problems when playing an internet game. It seemed like the app didn't receive "messages" from the server anymore (because of the bad connection) and somehow freeze then. If I forced a "reconnection" by typing something in in the chat then the connection came back and the app received messages from the server again (so the actual game situation was updated in my app window). Sometimes this led to graphical problems though (see attached pic).

There should be some sort of keep alive messages or so, so that the app gets updated again if the connection is lost.
