the sounds were recorded by myself, and i do not reserve any rights, so feel free to use/edit/dowhatever with them...

@doitux: yeah, that looks much better (I would add the licence though, like:
a http://where.ever.org GPL2+ )
still some questions:
cards contain two flipside images, where do these come from?
for the other card images, the wiki pages say: GFDL and some lines later public domain
public domain is nice, GFDL not, as it does not allow variations

@doc_dos: if you are from germany, you cannot give away the copyright (thanks to german laws *grml*) - you would need to licence it as BSD or MIT or whatever. if you're not german, maybe public domain, as you say, is okay.

The tux-flipside was done by me. It was default in version 0.1-0.3. It just stays for nostalgic reasons

The default one since 0.4 was done by our project designer Tranberry. He also did the whole table-design.

Concerning the wiki-cards-images i like to believe in: "I, the copyright holder of this work, hereby release it into the public domain. This applies worldwide."

would love to belive this too.

btw - data/transaltions/ contains binary transaltion files, these are generated from the files in ts/? If so, how would I do that? (better to do this at buildtime, than ship another 1.3MB of stuff)

as the first option applies, i hereby license all my recorded sounds as BSD...
