If throwing away the amount of the big blind doesn't hurt them too much, they'll be inclined to do it more often. Try upping the blinds a bit, they'll start taking some more risks.
But it's true, slow-playing by the bots doesn't happen too often: if they just call the big blind, chances are they want to limp in. Check-raising is also pretty rare.
