i have some questions about the server:

how can i configurate it, give it a config file or some jumpers to start the server?

i interest about to set a passwort (server-passwort)

Hello,

Have you read this already?
http://pokerth.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pokerth/trunk/pokerth/docs/server_setup_howto.txt?view=markup&pathrev=1389

Don't know if it's possible to limit the number of connections without diving into the code though.

The number of connections cannot be limited in the configuration file.

It is possible to limit the number of idle users in the lobby by editing serverlobbythread.cpp

#define SERVER_MAX_NUM_SESSIONS 512 // Maximum number of idle users in lobby.

However, these are only the users which did not join or create any game. The number of players within each game is limited to 7. The number of games is currently only limited by server resources.
