I have a few requests regarding the Dedicated server part, and especially Lobbychat.

1. Would be nice if the Lobbychat window could receive/view Notices from IRC, or at least from specified nicks (that could be specified in config).
2. A little more specification regarding what charset used (for example, writing from irssi with swedish chars shows as squares in PokerTH, but the other way around works fine)
3. Ability for the dedicated server to tell a person what IRC-server to use

And then a few for the Dedicated server (not the IRC-part)
1. Ability to ban/temporary ban/mute abusive users
2. Ability for Admin to "easedrop" on a Game
3. Ability to choose names & avatars for the computer Players, or at least provide PokerTH with a list with Names & Avatars that it can choose randomly from.

Most administrative requests as i can see it, could be good when ur running a Semipublic Poker Server and ppl tend to abuse or at least constantly use a foul language or harass other users.

What kind of notices do you mean? Private messages? This is intended to be the *public* lobby chat, so whether private messages are to be supported or not should be discussed first. Specifically, PokerTH is a poker game.

Charset is UTF-8 and only UTF-8. If your IRC client supports both UTF-8 and your local charset, switch to UTF-8. PokerTH uses and displays only UTF-8. If "irssi" sends proper UTF-8, PokerTH should display it correctly.

Use of IRC server is independent of the use of the dedicated server. It has been specifically requested in this forum that the IRC server can be chosen freely.

Yes, the names for the computer players could be somehow "cooler". We'll think about this.

Usual Notices send by IRC-servers, yes i know it's a pokergame. And private messages can be handled elsewhere.
But notices are a good way of transmitting out info from bots for example.

Easedroping on games for an admin could be a good way to determine if a report on a abusive user is genuine, or if it's just a fake report 'cause the players don't like each other.
So more like a spectator mode, but just for admins.

Couldn't this be done by just utilizing the already existing configuration options for Computer Players that are already in the config but only used when you run the game on your computer?
