There is one thing you could try: Open the configuration options and modify the "internet server", set it to pokerth.dyndns.org (this is the same server, but a different dns name).

I had the same problem and the server pokerth.dyndns.org work fine.

You told that the server is the same, but a different IP address?

Why this problem? It is very strange. I have two pc behind a router (with NAT). From one all is ok, from the other I need to change the address as you told. Why?

The problem is the following: Both the entries for pokerth.6dns.org and pokerth.dyndns.org exist, pointing (IPv4) to the same server. However, only pokerth.6dns.org supports IPv6 name resolution, which is why this is the default.

Now, in the last few weeks 6dns.org has been totally unreachable for whatever reason. PokerTH contains an automatic fallback to dyndns if name resolution to the 6dns address fails - however, this automatic fallback will only work if the dns name resolution timeout on the system is not too large. There is a global connect timeout in PokerTH of about 10 seconds. If this is triggered, and no dns timeout has yet occured, the connection will fail. However, if a dns timeout has occured within these 10 seconds, PokerTH will try to connect to the dyndns address.

But this don't explain my behavior. 2 PC in the same LAN behind the same NAT-Router, so with same IP address. From one all is ok with pokerth.6dns.org, from the other this is what happens:

I see this message:
25% Resolving address...
for 6/7 seconds, then

50% Connecting to server...
this for 10 seconds, then this error is displayed:

Connection timed out.
Please check the server address.

If the server is behind a NAT-Router, make sure port forwarding has been set up on server side.

If I try with pokerth.dyndns.org all is ok.

Is it not strange? Have you some idea?
