Regarding 1. avatar optional: I found out that if you first set a png file as an avatar, and then later rename/remove that png, no avatar will be displayed next time you start pokerth. So if somebody out there is really desperate to see no avatars, it's already possible

On the topic of feature requests in general: some of my friends complain that their eyes are not drawn enough to the amount set by other players (so they call even very big raises too quickly and then regret it). Maybe some kind of poker chip outline (possibly square/rectangular if that's more convenient, they had those in that Casino Royale movie ) can be drawn around the amount of money set to make it slightly more noticeable. It's a minor point though.

Why not 4-Coloured-Cards? I think the user should select them, if he wants. If not, he selects the 2-Colourd ones.

Personally i like 4-Coloured-Cards and it would be great, if you provide them in the next version. Just paint the new cards - it's not a big thing

Please take the sources, paint the cards images, recompile and send me a screenshot. So we will see if we can life with that style. On the one hand we would like to give the user a lot of options to personlize PokerTH. But we would also have a minimal PokerTH-typical style so that you can see that is IS PokerTH.
May be you can persuade us with a screenshot ...

Hmmm... ok. Not so easy as i thought (i forgot about the anti-alias-thing) and the colors have to be more shiny, but for 15 minutes of work, it's ok i think

Ok i will discuss the 4-colored-cards option with our designer. Then we will decide to implement or not.
Btw: a second card deck will grow the source-package about 1 MB

Concerning different cards: Have you thought about using SVG as a format?

This shouldn't enlarge the sources as much as bitmaps do. Of course they would still need some enhancement.
