Hold'em Rules: raises 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hello,

PokerTH don't respect a very important rule of TH No-limit, about
raises. For make it clear, and because my english is bad, i give you an
example. Actually with PokerTH 0.6:

P0 (button) with 400 chips
P1 (small blind) with 2K chips
P2 (big blind) with 2K chips

--- FLOP (or PREFLOP, TURN, RIVER, it's not important) ---
P1 bets 350
P2 calls
P0 raises to 400 and is all-in
P1 _raises_ to 1200 [THIS IS WRONG!!!] *
P2 folds

* P1 (and P2) don't have a right to raise because P0 didn't make a standard
raise (350 X2 = 700, P0 just had 400). So, P1 and P2 just have a right to
CALL or FOLD. In no case they can RAISE there.

If you don't understand me, i'm sorry but please read the rules.

Goodbye and thank you for your work, i'm in a hurry to see next versions of
PokerTH

Hi Srubs,

You may be right, although I'm not sure how pokerth handles this currently, I don't actually pay that much attention usually . On wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_hold_%27em I also read: "If a raise or re-raise is all-in and does not equal the size of the previous raise, the initial raiser can not re-raise again."
Where did you read/learn this rule?

Regards,
heyn

Hi,

A semi-related issue (underfunded all-in) I ran into in an internet game:

Game: 1 | Hand: 49
BLIND LEVEL: $1280 / $2560
Seat 1: heyn ($24720)
Seat 4: IRRIDUCIBILI ($5320)
BLINDS: heyn ($1280), IRRIDUCIBILI ($2560)
heyn starts as dealer.

PREFLOP
heyn bets $3840.
IRRIDUCIBILI calls $2560.

FLOP [board cards 2s,Jd,Tc]
IRRIDUCIBILI is all in with $200.
heyn shows [7c,Ad]

IRRIDUCIBILI shows [Kh,Th]

TURN [board cards 2s,Jd,Tc,Ks]

RIVER [board cards 2s,Jd,Tc,Ks,6s]
heyn has [ 7c,Ad] - High Card, Ace
IRRIDUCIBILI has [ Kh,Th] - Two Pairs, Kings and Tens

IRRIDUCIBILI wins $1
heyn has [ 7c,Ad] - High Card, Ace
IRRIDUCIBILI has
heyn has [ 7c,Ad] - High Card, Ace
IRRIDUCIBILI has [ Kh,Th] - Two Pairs, Kings and Tens

IRRIDUCIBILI wins $1
heyn has [ 7c,Ad] - High Card, Ace
IRRIDUCIBILI has [ Kh,Th] - Two Pairs, Kings and Tens

IRRIDUCIBILI wins $10440
