I can't start my own internet matches - the start button is missing.

tried it with many different versions (0.6, 0.6.1, 0.6.2, direct folder for linux) without effort.

I'm on Ubuntu Hardy 64bit

This looks like you are not in any game. Are you sure you successfully joined the game? Did you reopen the lobby after creating/joining the game?

as you can see - creating your own match joins you automatically to the match, so there's no way to "join".

even listing the players in my own game doesn't show any startbutton or anythiing else - it's the same screenshot like above.

Did you take the packages from pokerth.net?

As far as I can remember, we had that problem in Debian too. I think it was because PokerTH was compiled against Qt4 4.2 but running with Qt4 4.3 (or was it 4.3 and 4.4?).
Could you please post the output of the following two commands?

• dpkg -l "libqt4\*"


• apt-cache show pokerth

Oh, and by the way: Marco and I are the Debian maintainers of PokerTH, we are not affiliated with getdeb.net in any way, thus mailing us about problems with getdeb.net packages is not allways usefull (getdeb.net just uses our packages recompiled for Ubuntu, which can break as you can see here). [Don't take that personal, it's just I dislike the way getdeb.net works :)]
