Position of Start button 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I started with pokerth 0.3 and I wished me some kind of pause between the hands. So, I tested the SVN version and yeah, it is there. But I think it would be better to place the Start button somewhere more central, like in the middle widget where the cards are shown. So one doesn't have to move the mouse cursor so far. Or make the middle widget click sensitive so that a single click on it resume the game.

What do you think?

regards,
Enrico

Hi redeye

Welcome here on pokerth.net.
Thanks for try the SVN. Your invited to test again and again and post bugreports

Here the start-button issue:
I want to leave the center-widget mostly clean. For the extra buttons we create the right tool-box. We know that is not so fine especial for high speeds to klick on the right bottom. Here you can use the "CTRL" key to do the stop. In the settings you can also set to stop after every round.

Have fun and please stay tuned

Ok, leaving the center-widget clean sounds nice. The Ctrl key makes me happy. I just didn't know it, so I had to move my mouse cursor to the lower right corner which was annoying. But the Ctrl key is fine.

Thx.

Hi,

IMHO pause between hands should be activated by default and instead of clicking the little start button on the lower right,
you should add a big "continue" button between the 5 cards in the center and your cards.

The center-widget can stay clean and the continue button appear only when the input is needed.

With the current method, it happens very often that i forget to click to start and i am waiting the game.

At least if you want to keep the current method, you should make the start button blinking when we need to click on it.

Regards,
-Leszek

Hi

I lot of user were bothered about the next-round button as default in the center widget in 0.2. The new one is a compromise.
Blinking is a good idea. I will do that
