chat error 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0  
When i play the internet game, the lobby chat is unavalable, and i get a message :"onnecting to Chat server...
Could not connect to the IRC server. Chat will be unavailable." . What can i do to have the chat available????

thanks anyway...

May be you have a firewall running that blocks port 6667?

humm but it works for another machine on the network. I just installed both same version at same time. firewall and network settings are identical on both machines... windows xp pro.. i don't get it.. are there any logs to look at ?

ok i figured it out. It was my nickname. It was already registered on freenode so instead of changing the nick or giving me an error it just would not allow me to connect. i changed my nick from Matt to MattD and it works now.
