PokerTH 0.6-final released

Play Online-PokerTH as easy as never before!

Today, on December 13 2007, we proudly present PokerTH 0.6! Main features of this release are:

Internet Game - Play online games easy on the PokerTH-dedicated-Server (no ip addresses or port-forwarding needed any more)
Lobby-Chat for internet-/network game
Avatars are also available in internet-/network game
Computer-Players can be added in internet-/network game
New input field including action preselection
Auto-check/fold and Auto-check/call-any options for temporary away situations.
Blinds values and blinds order completely adjustable
New kicker-card-detection for log
Improved distribution of the pot
Translation updates (14 languages now!)
Server supports TCP and next generation protocol SCTP/IPv6 at the same time

Download PokerTH 0.6 and just click on "Internet-Game" to simply join PokerTH online tables!

Call for translation - PokerTH 0.6 Final

The Beta phase for version 0.6 is nearly over and we want to build PokerTH-0.6 Final. To complete this release we need your help as translator. There are currently ten active translators. Following users works on these translations:

heyn - dutch (pokerth_nl.ts)
gui - french (pokerth_fr.ts)
Miguel - spanish (pokerth_es.ts)
BerndA - german (pokerth_de.ts)
Arseny - russian (pokerth_ru.ts)
Jozef - slovak (pokerth_sk.ts)
Emiliano - italian (pokerth_it.ts)
wbodzek - polish (pokerth_pl.ts)
maxputo - português - brasil (pokerth_ptbr.ts)
mustafagunay - turkish (pokerth_tr.ts)

There are also two unfinished translations which just need some updates (norwegian - pokerth_no.ts & hungarian - pokerth_hu.ts).
If you are familiar with another language and want to contribute to the project by doing translation please post a small info on this forum thread. There you will also find more information about how to do the translation.
Deadline for incoming translations is December 13 2007.

PokerTH 0.6-beta released

Now that all of the new features for PokerTH 0.6 are implemented, we would like to welcome you to test the 0.6 beta release.
With this new version of PokerTH, you no longer need to exchange IP addresses and configure routers to play on the internet. We are running a dedicated server which will host all of your PokerTH games. Everyone who is willing to help with testing is invited to go to the download section and get a copy of PokerTH-0.6-beta. Just run the game and click on "Internet-Game" to join existing online-games or create your own one.
If you find a bug please report it in the forum or join our irc channel for comments.

Go for 0.6 - Developer Meeting

doitux, lotodore, floty

Recently we - doitux, lotodore and floty - met for our second great development evening in Lingen (Ems). Since we all live scattered in Germany these kind of meetings are yet only possible once a year.
We not only have finished the barbecue season in the rain with the help of a pocket lamp but also discussed the current release and the future of PokerTH. Thus we decided that there will be a public beta testing phase which should help to release a really stable and well tested version 0.6.
