Internet Games Very Slow (lots of lag) - 2007/12/28 02:24 Hello,

I, along with other players, have noticed the tremendous slowdown in the PokerTH server. That is to say, the Internet game server. There has been a lot of lag the past few days, even when there have not been a lot of players present. This is making Internet games unplayable. Is there some setting that can be changed? Is this a location problem (players from all over the world), or a server bandwidth issue?

Re:Internet Games Very Slow (lots of lag) - 2007/12/28 02:34 The gameserver pokerth.6dns.org resolves to the same IP as www.cafelinux.org which is very slow on port 80 as well.
Seems to be a server-issue. Does anyone want to run a second server?

Re:Internet Games Very Slow (lots of lag) - 2007/12/29 22:42 I've just found the program and was going to mention the lag before seeing this thread. Seems like a really great program so far except for this small, but very annoying, problem.

Any idea if this will be fixed soon or if it is possible to host the game on my computer and allow friends to connect to me? (i'm no techno-wiz when it comes to these things.. lol)
