player order mixed up - 2007/07/05 05:10 ive been playing a network game with 7 people today. my gf played on my laptop. i noticed that she folded her cards (on position 3 clockwise with me at the bottom) before the player in position 2 could take action. so i watched at her screen and really saw a different player order than on my screen. and yes, we've been playing in the same game!

*edit*: positions 2 and 3 and also 4 and 5 are mixed up. so the complete top row is out of order...

I also had this problem weeks ago. It seems to be a problem with usermapping when players join, left, rejoin and so on.
Does your game was a second or third one during a network session? Does the players join, left, and rejoin the session before the game starts? regards

Re:player order mixed up - 2007/09/22 22:46 I've had this problem a few times as well. I can't remember if it was in a game after players had joined/left/rejoined (I'll keep an eye on it next time).

Interestingly, only the mapping for certain players seems messed up, while it shows up fine for the other connected clients.
