Crash after splash screen (Windows 0.6beta4) - 2007/11/16 17:01 I played PokerTH for a while but recently had a problem several times.

After showing the splash screen, PokerTH crashes (the window just disappears and the task is also no longer visibe in the task manager).

Occasionally it helped to disable the wireless network connection or my vpn, but lately I cannot start PokerTH even after reboots etc.

Anyone came accross this and knows a work-around?

Thanks!
JR

Re:Crash after splash screen (Windows 0.6beta4) - 2007/11/16 17:09 Hi JR7

This bug will be fixed in beta5.
As work-around you can disable the splash-intro-screen in settings.

Re:Crash after splash screen (Windows 0.6beta4) - 2007/11/16 17:38 is there a way to disable this setting without opening the software, i.e. by some of sort of config file change or registry setting? Right now I cannot open the software and am somewhat lost...

Thanks,
JR

Re:Crash after splash screen (Windows 0.6beta4) - 2007/11/16 17:53 You need to open the file config.xml and change "<ShowIntro value="1" />" to " <ShowIntro value="0" />". On Linux you will find the file in: /home/username/.pokerth/ regards

Re:Crash after splash screen (Windows 0.6beta4) - 2007/11/16 19:29 I had the same problem, but I clicked outside the splash screen (but inside the pokerTH window) while it was still showing and the program ran normally.
