Several bugs at once - 2007/04/10 22:05
Hey guys,
here are some bugs I found during a few days of testing:
1. The dealer button "vanishes" under certain circumstances. It *seems* to happen when the Small Blind (who would be the next dealer) gets broke.
2. At game speed 11, there's no fade-out of cards after showdown.
3. For testing purposes, I started new games over and over. Often times, the Blinds start at $20/$40 instead of the $10/$20 (I always tested with the default settings). Sometimes this didn't happen, though. I actually couldn't recognise a pattern yet. This could be resolved by starting a new game right afterwards, though...
4. (maybe related to #3) I saw some illogical entries in the log file like "game 1, hand 1; game 1, hand 2 (and after starting a new game inbetween) game 2, hand *2*". What I mean is that after starting a new game, the hand would often start at #2...
5. Blinds get raised *at* every 8th hand instead of *after* every 8th hand (8th, 16th, 24th, ...)

Thx for reports.
1. I have already heard about this but cannot reproduce this until now. Which OS did you use? Windows or Linux?
2. This is correct. Speed 11 is only to calculate which player wins the game if human player is out before heads up. So any animation is disabled for speed 11.
3. / 4. I will keep in mind for testing
5. Thx we will fix that.

Hi,
I found a way to always trigger the 20$/40$ bug:
- be sure that "pause between hands" option is enabled in the settings.
- Start a new game
- play one hand
- when the winner is shown, instead of clicking start, start a new game
For the new game the little blind is set to 20$ and the big blind to 40$.
I tried this 5 times consecutively and i always got this result.

I can confirm this. By the way, it's not limited to 10/20 20/40 blinds.

About the dealer button vanishing when the small blind loses an all-in: it's not just the dealer button being invisible. Look at Game 7: Hand 7 cash description.
No mention of anyone being dealer.
