Playing PokerTH over Local Network - 2007/11/21 04:27 Hi There,
we are sitting in different rooms and want to play over local network. Our local address range is 192.162.2.10 - 20.
Starting with "netzwerkspiel beitreten" and entering one local address doesn't work. It results in timeout. Port 7234 is enabled. We are running an Belkin DSL WAN Router where a virtual server an the given port is enabled.

Is there a simple method to get connected locally?

Thanks for reply!
Peter

Re:Playing PokerTH over Local Network - 2007/11/26 17:33 Problems like this are usually caused by personal firewalls (for example the built-in firewall of Windows). Make sure that the firewall permits the incoming port on the system running the server. --
Use IPv6. http://www.sixxs.net/
