Bug in Internet Games - 2007/06/06 16:25 I was playing an internet game when I realized that the loser of a hand keeps their cards for the rest of the game, and the cards on the table aren't removed.

Doitux and I were playing (I was a client) and after I won a hand, my cards did not refresh. Neither did the cards on the table already.

When I hosted, Doitux's cards were not refreshed, but mine were.

Any ideas? It seems to be a problem in client's card refresh.

Edit: it works if I connect to my own server (127.0.0.1), and Doitux says the same.

Edit: Doitux has a newer version netpacket.cpp than the one I have, and I think that may be the problem.

Re:Bug in Internet Games - 2007/06/06 21:05 The new netpacket version should not be the problem, as the new packet type is yet unused.

It would be great if you could reproduce this problem somehow. Please keep on testing... Thanks.

EDIT: See below - the new netpacket.cpp is the cause of this behaviour.

Re:Bug in Internet Games - 2007/06/06 21:06 AAAH yes it is the problem. The packet type id changed. Oh well. Sorry for this. --

Re:Bug in Internet Games - 2007/06/07 07:02 Hmmm. That's funny

Doitux obviously built a newer SVN revision...
