Re:A single ace matches a Full House - 2007/08/13 02:49
I don't see an image, you may have to make it smaller to upload it. But seeing as a full house requires at least a pair to be on the board, it can't have been like
Player 1 has High Card, Ace Player 2 has Full House, Kings full of Threes
Player 1 wins $ 1000
Are you sure you didn't run into something I personally call "Three Pair"? That's when there are two pairs on the board, both higher than the pocket pair one player has, making his "extra pair" useless. It's really frustrating. I'll give an example.
Player 1: 5-5 Player 2: A-2
Board: 8-K-3-K-8
Player 1 has Two Pair, Kings and Eights (5 kicker) Player 2 has Two Pair, Kings and Eights (A kicker)
Player 2 wins.
