I'd like to see ring games. How hard would it be to implement those? Have the code and protocol been designed with adding them in mind, or were lots of tournament-only assumptions made?

No and no, I'm afraid. The current code is designed with the current style of games in mind. Redesign for other game type(s) won't happen before 0.8 release (also see Roadmap, although I'm sure you've looked at that).

That said, I'm not a developer so I might be wrong about the above.

I looked at the roadmap and didn't see anything about ring games. Perhaps a developer would like to chime in?

I was mainly referring to the fact that the game logic so far wasn't tailored to anything else than the current style of games, so no tournament-only assumptions (because according to the roadmap, we haven't reached 0.8 and therefore no coding has been done for tournament support). So game logic redesign has so far not happened at all, but it will have to happen anyway.
Whether the devs will want to go for tournament-only or make the logic flexible enough to support ring games at some point as well, I indeed do not know.

Hi,

I would submit the chatbox to you for examination.
It is small and small, and for someone is impossible to read in, sometimes for me too.
Enlarging the character (and a little enlarging the chatbox square too), I think, is the only possible solution.

Cheers.

What about:

"Optional unlimited thinking time to facilitate for example on-off games in the office or pausing for drinks in a LAN game (or pause option?)"

Is it possible to implement this function in v. 0,8 or maybe much longer time (f. ex. 720 seconds for a move). Now - 60 seconds - is still to short to go drink or something else in the work.

Please respond and put 720 seconds or more )))

Is it possible?
