UPDATE 2012, April:
Lotodore decided to give the Android port a new chance. He also setup a build environment and tested the PokerTH build. After a lot of testing he got the very unusual idea to rename the /usr/include/ directory to fix the first nasty build error. He was on a virtual machine with ubuntu setup just for this necessitas environment. So the rename of /usr/include didn't break his own productive system :-)

When he fixed the first error there was new drive for the port. Lotodore ported one lib after the other and then he finally got the first running binary. When the other team members checked their news there was a very legendary message readable on 2012-04-14:

[23:47:46 CEST] Lotodore: jaaa jetzt geht es (english: "yeees it works")
[23:47:56 CEST] Lotodore: warum schlaft ihr alle, das ist der durchbruch :-) (english: "why are you sleeping, this is the big break through :-) " )

Now, there a some tasks with the deployment of the gfx and sound files. This is the next big step which has to be done for a first running PokerTH game on Android. But thanks to Lotodore we are closer to it than ever before! And also floty's gui changes for the maemo port are now also used for the Android gui! This is synergy as we like it ;-)

On 2012-02-11 we released PokerTH 0.9.3. This release contains several improvements concerning log files (e.g. they can now be stored for more than 7 days). Also, "multiline" game names are now prevented, and there are other small changes. See the changelog for details.

After a short delay we provide PokerTH 0.9.2 for Maemo OS. Thank you for your patience.

From now on you can experience the new features of the new version on your N900 and after a break of one month you can connect to our server to play against the world now.

We are going to welcome the new year with a special poker event. The poker-heroes.com team is busy with many preperations concerning the "New Years Cup 2012". Please check this article about the deadlines for qualification and some scheduling details. 

When the Cup is done there will be a ranking reset on 2012-02-12. With this reset we set up a season system with 3-month seasons like 2012-Q1, 2012-Q2 etc. Currently there is also a new ranking system in development process. We will inform you about more details when the new ranking is implemented and is going to be live as a kind of "beta ranking" may be. You see, there is also a lot of action concerning the ranking environment and the whole infrastructure around the software.

Beside this we will start development for the next release PokerTH 1.0. For more information about the development state please check our roadmap.

With special greetings from the PokerTH developer meeting we are presenting PokerTH 0.9.2 on 2012-01-28. The new version contains mostly bugfixes and some small enhancements. Especially for the players from ESL we've done a quick fix for the logfile extension bug. Have fun again! We've also implemented a frequently requested feature: You can now turn on the "accidentally call" blocker via settings to prevent going all-in by clicking the call button too fast. For detailed release information please check the Changelog.
