Development-Team is back in town

After a few months of business in our jobs etc. we started again to work on PokerTH version 0.8. A lot of new features are already implemented, only a few points are still on our TODO list. The main feature in 0.8 will be the online ranking system. Registered users can start games with the game type "ranking game". These games will affect their player's rank on the upcoming public ranking website.
In order to have a proper base for the calculation of ranks we decided to set static game details like blinds structure and start cash. Now we are trying to find a good compromise for these game settings. There is a forum thread about "Default settings for ranking game" where you can see what we've planned and make your suggestions. You are welcome to take part in this point of the development.

1.000.000 x PokerTH!

We are proud to announce that today on 2009-10-29 PokerTH project hits the one million download limit. Click here for viewing the all time stats of sourceforge.net hosted PokerTH downloads. There are several external hosted packages we cannot calculate but we will now celebrate our 1.000.000'th self-hosted download ;-)
Thank you all for staying with us. Currently we are working hard on 0.8 features and hope we can get it one the way as soon as possible. On Roadmap you will find the planned features for 0.8 and future versions.

PokerTH 0.7.1 released!

On 2009-06-25 we released PokerTH-0.7.1.
This release contains several enhancements and bugfixes:

• Reduced per-game memory usage of the server, which enables playing with several hundred players on a low-end vserver
• New internet game list filter to show only e.g. open games, password-free games etc.
• New large chip count delimiter: 1000000 -> 1.000.000
• New "join any game" button behaviour - joins the game with the most players connected
• Styles handling enhancements (e.g. no activation needed any more)

On 2009-05-03 we released the brand new PokerTH 0.7.
New features are:

• Easily choose different table and card styles
• Create your own style in simple steps
• Online style gallery
• Netbook support with minimum 1024x600
