yes, you still need some packages! ;)
$ sudo apt-get install qt5-default qttools5-dev-tools libqt5sql5-sqlite

Try again with cmake, now.

Thanks, this worked. Maybe you want to include this in the Readme.txt in case someone else struggles with the installation. Now I only need to make sense of all these numbers ;)

One little bug I found. The folder "/usr/local/share/PokerTH_tracker" is created using the system's umask. I use 0027 on my PC which makes the folder with the icon for the launcher inaccessible to "others".

FantomAS wrote: Suggestion not really essential: to avoid to open 9 times the application to have the stats of a table, it will be nice to choose in the list the opponents and see the stats in the same window. Or maybe using tabs... Don't know if it is possible... Maybe we will loose in visibility... What do other users and you think?

I had the same idea when I opened it the first time. That feature would be wonderful.

One more suggestion. Would it be possible to remember the last opened folder, or even better, read "LogDir value=" from ~./.pokerth/config.xml?

Thanks again for your good work

Hi boehmi and all the others,

1) The system mask of /usr/local/share/PokerTH_tracker is alright, because the sense of a folder in /usr/local/share is that it contains shared data by all users on a system! So imho the umask 0027 doesn't make much sense.

2) Unfortunately reading the config data from the PokerTH config file is not as easy as it sounds, because it's not always stored in ~./.pokerth/config.xml. There are portable clients which store it god-knows-where! :(

3) What can be done is storing own settings, where the last selected path is saved. This indeed was requested several times. I will implement this in an upcoming release. B)

4) Showing several user stats side by side was requested some times as well. I'm still thinking about a way to do this without loosing visibility! :S Do you have any suggestions how to arrange the GUI ergonomically implementing this?

5) You're right: The required packages should be mentioned in the README.txt! I modified it! ;)

However thank you for your feedback! :)

Regards,
9 of Spades

Hi everyone B) ,

I don't want to spam you all with a new release announcement, but here it is! :P
The new version of the tracker remembers the last valid log file path and I added a multi player view in an extra window. Just double click on a player in the list, to add him/her. How do you like this solution?

PS: If you want to update an existing Linux install, just type:
$ cd /path/to/PokerTH-Tracker
$ git pull
$ mkdir build && cd build
$ cmake .. && make
$ sudo make install

Hi 9 of spades!

What if I installed from zip file instead using git?
Of course, when I execute "git pull", it tells me that there is not git repository

Can I run the same commands, except "git pull" in downloaded new version? Or do I have to remove somehow version I have installed?

As usual... awesome work :lol: :silly: :lol:

@tahr:

If you want to be safe it is better to start with a github clone. Every git pull will easyly update to the last changes then.
