If you want to be safe it is better to start with a github clone. Every git pull will easyly update to the last changes then.

Yeah, I should I've started cloning repository, but what do I do now?
Remove version installed and start over from zero using "git clone" or it would be safe do "git clone" now and install over existing one?

Hi tahr,

after you did "git clone https://github.com/Pik-9/PokerTH-Tracker.git", you got a working git repository on your hard drive. You can just do "git pull", whenever you want to get the latest commits.
When you want to install the latest changes, just build the new version using cmake or qmake and do "sudo make install". This will replace the installed binary with the new one!
I agree with sp0ck: Cloning the git repository is the best way of getting the source code.
And no: If you just download the zip or tar.gz file you won't get the git repository with it!
I hope this made some things clear about git and the source zip files.

I don't want to spam you all with a new release announcement, but here it is! :P
The new version of the tracker remembers the last valid log file path and I added a multi player view in an extra window. Just double click on a player in the list, to add him/her. How do you like this solution?

For me it's perfect, 9 of spades. Nice work :woohoo: .

Hi all,

Just a thing to find players names more easily in the list would be to class them by alphabetical and forget the uppercase letters. Cause it divides the list in 2.

A lazy player's remark ;), only to say something...
New improvements are really useful. Once again, Thank you very much for your work, 9 of Spades.

Just a screenshot of that fantastic tool that didn't help me yesterday, maybe cause i don't know how to use it perfectly  :

PS: I take all advices concerning my stats, maybe by mp or in an other thread ;).

Hi FantomAS and everyone else,

for everyone, who uses my tool but doesn't really understand what the numbers actually mean or how to interpret them:
http://www.pokerlistings.com/strategy/Interpreting-Your-Opponents-Stats

This is a really useful link that explains how to make use of a Poker Tracker like mine. As you will see, I did not implement all of the numbers described there, because I think some of them just don't really fit into the kind of gameplay we experience here at poker-heroes.

Again: I strongly recommend you to read this article thoroughly! Otherwise the tracker will never be more than just a wall of funny numbers to you!

I want to end my post with the imho most important sentence from this article: A poker tracker is "a tool, not a crutch"! It improves neither luck, nor skill. It just helps you analysing your opponent, which allows you to make better decisions in specific situations.

Regards,
9 of Spades
