How to change players names

Hi, sorry to ask, but I can't find the answer. Searched a lot.
There is a file that can be edited to change the players names from player 1,2,3 ...
to real names like Tom, Dick and Harry etc. I did this before, but I can't remember what file it was, I am old. I try to do this in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

if you are in your home folder press and hold "ctrl" + "h' to expose hidden files. finder .pokerth. inside is an ".xml" file. carefull in here, you are looking for these lines...

<Opponent2Name value="Player 2" />
<Opponent3Name value="Player 3" />
<Opponent4Name value="Player 4" />
<Opponent5Name value="Player 5" />
<Opponent6Name value="Player 6" />
<Opponent7Name value="Player 7" />
<Opponent8Name value="Player 8" />
<Opponent9Name value="Player 9" />

you can type whatever name you want in between the "quote marks" when done, save xml file exit. you are done.

.its also in settings, under the nick avatar tab. change all players name and avatars. much easier way...

I did that awhile ago, changed all but one of the players names to my nick, the last to dart501 but that Snake still wins.
