I could fix the checkboxes "Check this box to be notified of replies to this topic."
But i cannot find problems with dropdown boxes. Can you please send me a link of a broken dropdown box page?

Doitux, I did a total reset of my browsers settings and I cannot reproduce the
two-character-wide dropdown boxes any more. Regard it as a fixed PICNIC* problem.
*(Problem In Chair Not In Computer)
