lorddune created the topic: Cookie Warning?
I keep seeing this message on PokerTH Forums, and a handful of other websites once in awhile:

"NOTE! This site uses cookies and similar technologies. If you not change browser settings, you agree to it."

I did an internet search and didn't find anything malicious relating to this phrase, although I did see dozens of websites with the identical banner. I've never clicked on it, as it does seem suspect to me because of the verbiage: "If you not change browser settings, you agree to it." Sounds like it was written by a Nigerian Lottery scammer.

Just curious if anyone knows what the heck this banner is.

I believe websites by law have to announce they use cookies. I am not sure about this but I remember seeing it on several websites about the same time and the only thing I could think of was that a law was passed about informing users of the cookies that might be used on their computer.

Makes sense now. Think all the sites I saw it on were from EU based countries.
