phongtom created the topic: Vietnamese Translation

I'm translating the GUI of PokerTH into Vietnamese Language with the tool from Qt Linguist.
But I don't know the extension of the file to choose after translating to apply into the program because there were so many extension that were created after compiled with QT Linguist.

Please show me to choose and how to apply for demo in the PokerTH program.

Here is the link to download the file for other Vietnamese Users who wanted to edit and full fill the mistake in the file (:))

http://www.mediafire.com/download/9c6cm14nvwt3w9n/pokerth_vi.ts - The file to edit in QT Linguist

And at last, please update the Vietnamese Translation to the PokerTH latest version!

You won't get the correct file format with the save function. Use this instead:

File -> Release As...

Then choose .qm as your file format, it should already be pre-selected.

Good luck with your translation!

but I wonder about the time for the next release, because I want this translation port into the new version so much.

Do you know where I can make a contact to the guy who is responsible for the release version?

You will need to "Fork" the repository for that. Instructions here:

https://help.github.com/articles/fork-a-repo

If you're on Windows, you can use GitGUI. On Linux, I like to use git-cola.

When you're done committing to your git fork, go to your fork on the Github homepage and make a Pull request.

I will merge it for the first time and add the required settings dialog entries. After this you can send the updates for later releases via github pull request.
