WEC Monthly and Yearly Grand Finals part II

How the monthly Finals will work in 2016 and the following years


Due to the changes for the monthly Finals and the Grand Final, I opened this new thread. Also created this post to explain how the semi-finals will work in the future. As example I use Ranking of December 2015.

Please bare in mind that the monthly Ranking has only one malus if you played played an amount of games below the average. So the result may differ from yearly ranking.

Lottery pool

Before I continue. I'll take Safavid out of the lottery pool because he is already qualified for the Final. So we have 19 players for 2 tables. The Top 4 of each table will be qualified.

Our friend from Iran has a day off but theoretically Safavid could appear and fill up table 2 because there are only 9 players. If there a 13 or less players in the Lobby he could also full up the table with fewer players. So Ranking winner could be used to fill up tables.

If Safavid joins table 2 he would be handled as usual for ranking but he would be handled as non-competitive for the final qualification. So if he ends up in the Top 4 the 5th played player will receive a ticket for the final.

If there are only 10 players including the ranking winner are at the lobby? Just play the Final instead of the Semis. But what happen if no champion is in sight and with them there would be 10 players, so no final could be played. Just take a screenshot were anybody can see all corresponding players and the time when the screenshot was taken. This screenshot should be posted in the Forums ofc. You can play a normal WeC game instead.

If there are 2 Semifinal tables, places 1-4 of every Semi final table are qualified for the monthly final.
If there are 3 Semifinal tables, places 1-3 of every Semi final table are qualified for the monthly final.

When will the Semi-Final and Final games count for WeC ranking?

Semi-Final games will count always, regardless how manny players are present.

Monthly and yearly Grand finals will also count for WeC ranking regardless how much players played.


How to report if there are less than 7 players at the table?

Just fill up the 6th and/or 7th spot with a disco_dummy.

WeC's January 2016 finals are right in sight, so be prepared.

@ all qualified Players:
Please be present at the PokerTH Internet game Lobby at least 21:59 CEST. (19:59 UTC) Players who arrived late won't be invited by the corresponding table admin. Only exceptions are players who are still playing the 8 pm game.

@M4N!4C, I am confused.
What is the rule for semis? First 20 in monthly ranking?
I did not played well last month but I thought I was No. 20.

I`m not totally agree with this new rule for monthly semis and preferred the winners of the wec games during a month could participate in semis too, but rules are rules and TY again to M4N!4C and admin board for new arrangements
How ever, 5th Feb I`ll be in BBC Step 4 21:30 ... If I`ed kicked out soon enough I will join you Eternal Luckers but, for now I just wanna say GL to all semi players !
