WEC Monthly and Yearly Grand Finals part II

the twelfth round and for 2018s monthly Finals coming soon, so be prepared.

The Semi-finals for December 2018 are scheduled for Friday 04th January 2019, 22:00 CET (21:00 UTC) and Finals for December 2018 06th January 2019 22:00 CET (21:00 UTC)


Table Set-up:

Starting Money: $ 10,000
First Small Blind: $ 50
Delay: 7 s
time for Action: 15 s
Blind level increasing: double every 25th hand

I propose to have 2 or 3 substitute for final because always we have absences. At 22:05 if table is not full, invite from substitute list. Playing full table is more interesting.

I’m basically not against an addition of 3 substitute players but we might have to draw a line when you are qualified. I checked 2018s statistics of 11th -13th placed of every month.





May (23.4) would be the harshest month to qualify and June (14.7) the easiest one. Yearly average is 19.3 points per game.

So now we should discuss if we want an adaptive, a consistent, no cap or no substitutes at all.

I would pick a consistent cap of 18 for any substitute player. I’ve chosen a fixed cap is to prevent unnecessary confusion.

the Season 2018 has come to an end and we are close to the Grand Finals 2018.

The Grand Semi-Finals and Finals for 2018 are not scheduled yet. Each table will find a date on its own. The link of doodle polls for each table will be send to above mentioned players as soon as possible. After each Semi-Final table played there will be another doodle poll to find a date for the Grand Final.

Hi GrandSemi-Finalists,

the Private mails containing the links are sent out.

I‘ve set up game times at 8, 9 and 10 pm on dates from 11th January to 03rd February. There are no games on Saturdays.

It is interesting that I am 6 times in 11-13 places! That means it is a very good idea to have the substitutes.
