i have actually kept the statistics of bad beats for all-in bets and the data conclusively shows there's a bad-beat bias.
rather than just cry foul at all the times i thought i was hard done by, i thought i should actually make sure i wasn't just being a loser... nope. is there source code avaiilablle for the random number generation? because this is not helping my real world game if i have been training here to call when behind.
polease and thank you

No offence, but I've seen you playing and your stats show it.

The more players stay in a hand the weaker your hands get and the likelier it is to get beaten on the river. So if you play very aggressively early on with a few other bingo players then these "bad beats" happen more often.

About the RNG you have to wait for sp0ck's answer. As far as I know it uses the OS's RNG. The source code is available here https://github.com/pokerth/pokerth

Where is your evidence?

no offense? why say it then? given you can only see my placings in the stats, and last season i had more wins than any other position, you can stick it. i play on the other side of the world so half the time i fall asleep mid-game... e.a.d.

i deleted it unfortunately - i didn't see a notification of the reply, but expected a "you suck" answer like yours.
I had a running count in the chat the other day of all the times people were behind preflop and outdrew to win. it was 4/2. that doesn't add up

but whatever, i'll check out the code

Really? You had 34 places 7 and 8 each and "only" 33 wins. Your strategy seems to be to double or triple up early on. Once you succeeded you can outplay the remaining players. This strategy doesn't seem to be as successful as you think and you complain.

It's called variance, happens to all of us. But in the long run it levels out to the expected value.

In your example above you were a ~ 3:1 favourite preflop. It's quite good, but 1 out of 4 times you lose this hand on average. This time you lost. This is no proof that the cards are not dealt randomly.

My reaction was merely because we get such complains every now and then, mostly from the not so skilled players...

I was trying to join an open table and wasn't able to because a note said that some other player was using my network address. How can I fix this?

The error message is misleading. The real reason is that we restrict players to 4 games per hour to prevent "playing bingo" too much.

And why don't you open a new thread? It has nothing to do with this topic.
