I keep turning off the sounds in Spectator, but the sound comes through anyway when in Edge browser. seems to work fine in Duck Duck Go browser...

Thanks for the report — I guess you were speaking about web client..... that one was real, and it led to two separate fixes.

1) The mute state was read only once when the page loaded. All windows of the same browser share the same stored setting but not the same memory, so if you had a second tab open (or the installed app running alongside), muting in one window left the other one noisy until it was reloaded. The client now re-checks the mute setting before every single sound, and a mute in one window silences the others immediately.

2) If you are signed in with a PokerTH.net account, settings sync could overwrite the sound switches with the values from another device whenever the server copy was newer — so you would turn them off, and they would quietly come back. Settings you change on a device are now kept and pushed to the server instead of being overwritten.

Both fixes are in build 2.1.4-web.128 — you can check the build number at the bottom of the connection screen. If you still see the old one, reload the page once (Ctrl+F5 in Edge).

To make sure I fixed the right thing, could you tell me:
- Do you mute with the speaker button in the top bar, or with the four checkboxes in Advanced options → Sound?
- Are you signed in with a PokerTH.net account in Edge, and playing as a guest in DuckDuckGo?
- Do you ever have a second tab or the installed app open at the same time?

One thing worth noting: DuckDuckGo blocks audio much more aggressively than Edge, so "it works there" may just mean nothing was playing at all. Edge is the better browser to test the fix in.

If you mean Live- / Spectator-Tool: bug has been fixed. Audio off/on should trigger immedeately now.
... before it worked only with reloading the page after setting sound on/off.

You migh need to clear browser cache in order to get the bugfix.
