Hello. When we try to play a game using the PokerTH web client, to my surprise, I get a message saying “IP address blocked.” This seems to happen only when my friend, the user spankyss, is already at the table. Or conversely, he can't join if I'm there.

This was the server's anti-collusion check: two players connecting from the same IP address cannot join the same table. Until now, all web client players reached the server through the web proxy, so they all appeared to share one single IP address — that's why you were blocked whenever spankyss (also on the web client) was already seated.
This is fixed in the 2.1.7 release, which is now deployed on the official server: the web client proxy forwards each player's real address, so web players are no longer seen as one and the same IP. Please give it another try — you and spankyss should now be able to play at the same table.
Note: the check itself still applies — if two players really do share the same network (same household), they still cannot sit at the same table.
