There was a complete server restart this morning and I forgot to re-activate the global notices. Done now :-)

This is not really a bug or a critical issue, but in Windows 10 the big red 'Fold' button is hard up against the bottom edge of the window. This makes the 'Fold' button look smaller than the two buttons above and I find this visually jarring. In the old version 1.1.2 there is a small gap between the bottom button and the edge of the window.

EDIT: This is happening because I'm using a non default table style.

I am able to reproduce the Win10 sound issue on my laptop like that (using PokerTH-2.0-Setup.exe with MD5SUM aeb94ecb17341a8ea49efbb25832596f):

1. Start PokerTH, start local game => sound working
2. Close laptop lid (I think it goes to hibernate or something), re-open lid, log into windows
3. PokerTH window is still there, the game is still running and I am able to continue the game as expected. BUT the sound is gone and won't come back until I close and re-open PokerTH.

When I do this in Powershell:
$env:POKERTH_AUDIO_BACKEND="qsoundeffect"
.\pokerth_client.exe

Then the bug seems to be gone (sound plays as expected after putting windows to sleep and waking it up again).

Note: ChatGPT suggested this workaround after I asked it why the sound in windows stops working in the code found at github/pokerth/pokerth. It also said something about a recovery handler in the SoftwareMixerBackend, which is only triggered when QAudioSink goes to IdleState, but apparently does not catch "SuspendedState" or "StoppedState" or react to situations where the “Default Output Device changed".

Should be fixed. Please re-download new client in like 7 hours after old server has been deactivated - then all new downloads are ready.

Pokerth ruins the computer's sound system.

When my laptop resumes from hibernate, I've this graphics bug where the user interface won't match the size of the window. After testing the new version, I've also noticed that the graphics on the table look really pixelated compared to 1.1.2. I've my display scale set to 125% on Windows which I suspect may be causing both issues...

I thought it was just me! The new client is a joke and it's a shame you are being forced to use it.

If you feel that way, you are free to leave this community and play poker at another place - maybe a place where you need to pay for it.

Else you might give some details like OS & exact client (md5sum) to help us fix this issue.

I have the following issues:
- The executable takes around 25% of CPU while playing a game.
- The sound is a bit laggy (it plays after the action has taken place).
- The "Window Audio Device Graph Isolation" process takes 10% of CPU.

It was the first time I was using the new version for a game today, and at the start it was very slow and I missed a couple of hands.

I cannot reproduce on my Windows 11 System. Samples are played in time and completely, CPU usage is 1-2%.

Can you tell which Windows Version you do use?
Also: how much RAM does your PC have?
