Hi,

could you specify which Operating System you are using?

To give you some technical background: PokerTH 2.0.6 is based on Qt 6.9.2 LTS. The Qt Company no longer provides pre-built 32-bit binaries for Qt 6, making it a 64-bit framework by default.

Compiling Qt 6.9.2 from source for 32-bit is a massive undertaking with significant technical hurdles. Furthermore, version 2.0.6 introduced essential security updates and modern TLS standards required for our game server. These modern encryption standards are increasingly difficult to maintain and optimize on legacy 32-bit architectures.

Due to the global phase-out of 32-bit support (e.g., Windows 10 32-bit and Steam) and the immense maintenance effort required, we do not plan to release an official 32-bit client for PokerTH 2.0.6.

We recommend upgrading to a 64-bit operating system to continue playing on the official server.

Hi Spock,
I use Windows 11 64bit as host and for playing (poker etc.), virtualbox with Windows 8.1 Prof 64bit as guest- system.
I can install PokerTH in the guest-system, but when I try to start it, it shows the error-message "The procedure entry point SystemParametersInfoForDpi could not be located in the dynamic link library .....\PokerTH\Qt6Gui.dll".
I played a while ago with 32bit-equipment and everything was fine. But now I think, PokerTH changed its server and the 32bit-PokerTH-client (I used month ago) can not login and the newest 64bit-PokerTH does not run in a 64bit-machine.
That is, why I asked for 32bit. The old things work, but the new ones ......

Correct - new client and server are 2.0.6 with Qt 6.9.2 now - Qt 6.9.2. for windows systems supports win 10 as minimum requirement.

... maybe you find a VM Image with Win 10 64-bit.
