I tried donating, but I was unhappy with the Paypal asking for address and phone number. I think this is a little over the top.

Is there any other way to donate, is a direct account transfer a possibility ?

I assume you chose "Donate by debit or credit card". Then I think Paypal needs to ask for the address to prevent fraudulent transactions. I'm not sure whether the mobile number is mandatory. You can try without mobile number.

When someone donates all we get is the name and the email address.

If you still want to donate by bank transfer, then I'll let sp0ck know. But be aware of that he only has a german bank account.

I'd donate by wire transfer too. No problem if it is a German bank account, we both are in SEPA.
