Missing BBC-ticket - Bug or erratic execution of the rules?

Yesterday, I've noticed, that I am missing my Step 4 ticket,
although I didn't play (sadly I couldn't qualify) nor did I receive
BBC ranking points (or an increase count of games). The
qualification games are non-existing, I don't even have an
idea, how to access data about it.
So while it may be possible, that this ticket was reduced after
the end of the final Step 4 table (it was still there after the
qualification game with Step 4 settings, that didn't count),
I still think, this is a bug. You'll have to decide, if it was a
game or not. Either you can receive points (a foursome)
or you hold the ticket. Like in that Step 3 game last week,
we all registered, but couldn't find 10 players with a ticket.
We switched to Step 1, and nobody lost their Step 3 ticket!
