Chat bot language triggers

Today a strange thing happened to me while I was talking in the chat with some fellow countrymen.

I greeted some Italian guys saying that I was happy to meet some italians and the bot after having said twice the word compatriots (in Italian "connazionali") muted me.
Arianna: e invece anche dei simpatici connazionali
(chat bot): Arianna: Warning! No racial, religious, sexually inflammatory or otherwise insulting language
Arianna: ma connazionale triggera il bot?
(chat bot): Arianna muted! Please respect:
I am sorry for that but in spoken italian the term "connazionale" is not bad language as far as I know.

Have a nice day

Arianna

The chatbot got triggered by "nazi". I adjusted the filter now.

Could you add the entire range of abbreviated vulgar words like : fck, fucc, sht, fcker, bstard, scmbag, wankr, ashole, sluut, btch, etc.

Otherwise it's too easy to bypass the trigger & continue to be rude.

Thanks

This would be a laborious task. The chat cleaner has a list of disallowed words in its config file. There is no "fuzzy logic" in it to detect any variation of these words. Every of these variations need to be written in the config.

Did you just volunteered to provide such a list? ;)

Yep, we could start by adding in the config the 10 words most regularly used, those mentioned just above.
