It rewards the more active players.
And encourages the tight players (by low-game count) to risk by playing more to attain/sustain/retain their rank.
I think 2 games/day is reasonable.
Or, maybe that's what that (games ^ 3) part of the math mumbo-jumbo in the scoring is trying to do.
I any case, I'm doing fairly well right now and I'd like to be higher, and want the fly-by-night tourist players to be vanquished further down!!!!
If you satisfy this request I promise not to make it again
Restrict Leaderboard entries to require avg of 2 games/day

Hi JumlyGurm,
what you describe is an extra event - in respect to the current avg total amount of active players and the number of players fullfilling like 2 ranking games per day:
which is currently ~600 players vs ~100 players.
How exactly do you imagine your idea?
As for now, it's during european morning time until evening already a long time to wait for a casual ranking game to start.
The reply from boehmi demonstrates the current ranking formular which respects the amount of games during a season in a pretty fair way. Please take a deeper look (the x-axis is the number of games).
Kind regards
sp0ck
