I'm trying to play PokerTH v2.0 on a Linux Mint v22.3 (latest version) PC. I haven't succeeded yet due to a lack of players, but have found the following bugs:
AppImage:
-No sound when joining a game despite having that selected in options.
-Have an avatar image selected, but it doesn't show up in the player roster when forming a game.
Zipped executable:
-Have an avatar image selected, but it doesn't show up in the player roster when forming a game.
These aren't critical, but should be added to your to-do list.
Let me know if you need any more details. Thanks.

Did some actual game play with both Linux versions today. Here is what I found (including info from post #1).
AppImage:
-No sound at all either pre-game or in-game despite having that selected in options.
-Not sure if this was just AppImage or not, but had an odd event near the end of a game. 3 players. I had the largest stack. All three of us went all-in. #3 stack won the hand and I won the remainder. Oddly, #2 and #3 stacks both greyed out as if they were done. #3 player and I then played one more hand where I knocked him out.
Linux Zip:
-Sound was okay at all points of the game.
Both:
-Have an avatar image. It did not display during join-game phase, but did display during the actual game.
-"Away" functions, chat, logging and basic game play all appear to work fine.
-% raise function works well. Nice addition.
The "ghost" player is a definite problem. The sound & avatar issues are relatively minor. Let me know if you need more info.

Should be fixed now. Please re-download.Hammerhead wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 5:23 pm AppImage:

OK. Just saw "ghost" players again. Another player reported seeing the same thing, so it isn't just just my display.

AppImage sound is fixed. Thanks Sp0ck!
Running new GUI client binary compiled from github source repository on Debian forky and I cannot add bots to complete and start Standard / Only registered Users / Invite Only tables,
Same result on Linux AppImage (both in testing and stable Debian).
I also experienced the mentioned Ghost bug tonight.

You need two human players in order to fill up a custom game with bots. This should be same behaviour as 1.1.2 client.Randagino wrote: Thu Feb 12, 2026 1:19 am I cannot add bots to complete and start Standard / Only registered Users / Invite Only tables,
