Timeout needs a Timeout

I understand adding a timer and booting inactive players in an active game. But for real. booting me out before the game even begins? During a time of low number of users? I like to play in the morning before work. But, I often wait for an hour to get into a game, and then I often get booted because I didn't catch it the exact moment the game pings me because of inactivity (waiting for a game to start). Because I can't just sit here and stare at a screen for an hour waiting for a game to start. I'm not saying get rid of the timeout. But, how about disabling that feature or making an exception to that feature when there are fewer than 20 players and for players who are at a table just waiting for enough players to join before the game starts? If that is out of the question, then how about adding additional beeps when it gets closer to timing out and booting you?

Sorry. It's just annoying to spend about an hour waiting for a game to start only to find out that I got booted while I was waiting and the game started without me. Freaking annoying, especially since I got up an hour early just so I can get a game in before work.

Hi il Buono,

the beep is not a bad idea - I will propably implement it with next release.

For the rest some details:

- lobby AFK timeout = 30 minutes of inactivity
- during game AFK timeout = 20 minutes of inactivity

You can reset the timeout with any kind of activity: a simple mouse-click inside the lobby or the game-table window is already enough with 2.0.x client.

I think it's not too much expected from a player connected to the game-server to be active every like 25 minutes in lobby or every like 15 minutes in a running game in order to avoid being kicked either from lobby or from game.

Don't you agree?
